CMP_MOD - Ensure component exists

Description:

Ensure that a component with the specified name, type and shape exists. If a component with the required name does not exist, one is created. If a component with that name does exist but has a different type or shape, it is deleted and a new one created with the required attributes.

Invocation:

CALL CMP_MOD( LOC, NAME, TYPE, NDIM, DIM, STATUS )

Arguments:

LOC = CHARACTER * ( DAT__SZLOC ) (Given)

Structure locator.

NAME = CHARACTER * ( DAT__SZNAM ) (Given)

Component name.

TYPE = CHARACTER * ( DAT__SZTYP ) (Given)

Data type.

NDIM = INTEGER (Given)

Number of dimensions.

DIM = INTEGER( NDIM ) (Given)

Object dimensions.

STATUS = INTEGER (Given and Returned)

The global status.
