Classified IRAS90 commands

  IRAS90 applications may be classified in terms of their functions as follows:
Astrometric Utilities:
SKYALIGN:
Align images using internally stored astrometric information.
SKYBOX:
Report extent and position of a rectangular region of the sky.
SKYGRID:
Annotate a picture with a celestial coordinates grid.
SKYLINE:
Draw meridians, parallels and great circles over an image.
SKYMARK:
Draw markers over an image at specified celestial coordinates.
SKYPOS:
Transform positions between image and celestial coordinates.
SKYWRITE:
Write text over an image at specified celestial coordinates.
Examining Data:
FFIELD:
Identify the ISSA fields covering a given position.
HISTORY:
Display history from a group of NDFs.
IFIELD:
Display IRAS SKY SURVEY ATLAS plate details for a specified position.
IRASTRACE:
Display IRAS extension information from a group of NDF.
PSCONT:
Make a hard-copy contour map with sky coordinate grid.
SHOWQUAL:
Display the qualities currently defined within an NDF.
SKYPHOT:
Calculate integrated fluxes in rectangular, elliptical or polygonal regions.
TRACECRDD:
Graphically display detector data streams from a CRDD file.

Handling CRDD:
BACKCRDD:
Remove a background from a group of CRDD files.
COADDCRDD:
Coadd CRDD traces crossing specified positions.
DEGLCRDD:
Deglitch a group of CRDD files.
DESTCRDD:
Equalise detector offsets within a group of CRDD files.
FINDCRDD:
Accepts a list of sources, and prepares files specifying corresponding CRDD data to be extracted.
HISTORY:
Display history from a group of NDFs.
IRASTRACE:
Display IRAS extension information from a group of NDF.
MAPCRDD:
Map a group of CRDD files into an image.
NEWUNITS:
Change the system of units in which an NDF is stored.
POINTCRDD:
Detects point sources along the trace(s) of CRDD NDF file.
POSCRDD:
Locate the closest CRDD files to a given position.
SIMCRDD:
Generate simulated CRDD from a supplied trial sky image.
TRACECRDD:
Graphically display detector data streams from a CRDD file.

Handling Images:
COLCORR:
Create colour corrected surface brightness images.
COLTEMP:
Create colour temperature and optical depth maps.
FFIELD:
Identify the ISSA fields covering a given position.
HISTORY:
Display history from a group of NDFs.
IRASTRACE:
Display IRAS extension information from a group of NDF.
NEWUNITS:
Change the system of units in which an NDF is stored.
PREPARE:
Prepare a FITS image for use by other IRAS90 routines.
PSCONT:
Make a hard-copy contour map with sky coordinate grid.
SETIMAGE:
Assign new global properties to an IRAS90 image.
SKYALIGN:
Align images using internally stored astrometric information.
SKYBOX:
Report extent and position of a rectangular region of the sky.
SKYGRID:
Annotate a picture with a celestial coordinates grid.
SKYLINE:
Draw meridians, parallels and great circles over an image.

QUALTOBAD:
Set NDF pixels bad which have a given set of qualities.
REMQUAL:
Remove the definition of pixel qualities from an NDF.
SETQUAL:
Assign a quality to a group of pixels in an NDF.
SHOWQUAL:
Display the qualities currently defined within an NDF.
