texconfig  

You can run texconfig interactively to configure various aspects of the distribution. However, I haven't discovered how to get it to display the current configuration. I have used it to:

• set the default printer MODE to cx
• remove the print command from dvips, so that the output of dvips is a .ps file.

Note that texconfig defaults both xdvi and dvips to A4 paper.

To run texconfig interactively, type the following:

      % texconfig
