Conventions

verbatim	Commands you enter, filenames, parameters values you supply to scripts or tasks appear in teletype fount.
command	The names of UNIX or Starlink commands appear in bold.
term	Special terms explained in the glossary appear in the sans-serif fount.

Commands to be entered from the terminal are prefixed with a % prompt string. You should not type the %.
